Tragedy

by Phantasmagoria   Oct 3, 2006

Smiling as the blood drips down,
the child lies dead.
Her open eyes are glazed over,
knowing grace and dread.
She's away from fear,
the nails in her hands have dried
rusted by tears and gore,
unknowing, she has died
a bullet hole has opened her mind,
the dark seeps into the ground
yet, outside of the window,
rain still falls without a sound.

Her past is lost in presence,
her future lost in pain,
her world is broken apart,
fallen down with the rain.

The feeling of decay hides under her skin,
her body now unaware
he will never hurt her again,
she is compelled with sullen despair
all memory has vanished
the black rings on her wrists,
words so sad and angry,
making frail fingers into fists.
Her smile turns red with hate
and now rots inside her brain,
she's gone at only 13,
and it was he who drove her insane.

This is creepy and awesome. Love it.

    Especially the line -
'Her past is lost in presence,
    her future lost in pain,
    her world is broken apart,
    fallen down with the rain.'
