NOTHINGS HARDER

Remember when we were little
always playing in the sand
it was the most fun
i think we'd ever had

now we're older
and you're moving away
theres nothing that i wouldn't give
to have just one more day

I tell you that I'll miss you
as i wipe a tear from your eye
nothings harder for the best of friends
than trying to say goodbye

~This was written for my best friend, Theresa the day she got sent away~

    An amazing poem..Shows the true meaning of friendship..

    I know what it's like to love a friend with all your heart and then to see them be taken away. It's happened to me a few times. Not only sometimes did the person moved, it's been worse. Though the child stayed in my city, we were not allowed anywhere near each other and the love we felt turned into icy hate... Sorry, that's not exactly relevant! Anyway, AMAZING poem! I loved it! You really brought out emotions, so 5/5.

    I love your poem, I know how you feel, I am having to say goodbye to my best friend i'm moving in 2 weeks and its like all the memories of the past are coming flooding back like they happend yesterday, It sucks having to say goodbye, but friends forever never end :) keep writing!!
