The pain of love

love has many wonders
infatuation before you first speak
lust for when you first meet
joy when you find out they love you too
jealousy for the first time you hear of another
fear when things are not going well
and pain when the last three happen at the same time
the pain is what I know best
for love has been cruel to me as of late
my love for my lady I wish I knew it's fate
she won't return my calls
and my name is not Nate
so the fear and the jealousy are all around
all I am left with is the pain of love
