Cut In Half.

by Poppy   Oct 5, 2006

Sweet morality reminds me of love,
Haunted grey eyes stare in to the abyss,
Death can smile if you please it,
Dance, the dance of the fallen.

Come sweet innocence,
I'll show you my scars,
I've hidden them well,
Beneath my pale skin.

Take my hand, little one,
I'll show you love,
I'll hide you from darkness,
And kiss away the pain.

I'll be your salvation,
I'll hide you from harm,
I'll never leave you,
I'm your other half...

Forever in my arms I'll keep you,
Warm, safe and loved.
All you've ever wanted,
I'll give without a qualm.

Oh dark lover, how I need you.
Oh tender kisses, how I crave you,
Oh missing half, how I'm dying without you,
My own morality reminds me of love.
