Forgotten innocent.

by Poppy   Jul 8, 2007

She longs for her lost innocence,
Her long lost purity,
Longs for her lost clouded vision,
Longs for the days when the light shone through the window.

Now in darkness,
She's weak and hopeless,
Days of light long since gone,
She pales to nothing in the night.

And there's no hope for the impure maiden,
No chance to walk in the sun,
No golden tan shall there be on her soft skin,
No person shall she see again.

The darkness bleeds away her hope,
Tears flood her vision,
Dying of a broken heart,
It's only kind to forget her.
