SiNce tHe dAy

I have never felt this way,
tears streaming down my face;
it's always been a rainy day,
since the day you went away.

my warm mornings turned to cold nights,
since you weren't there to hug me tight;
i am brave but now I'm full of fright,
since the day you walked out of my life.

my sun doesn't shine anymore,
i am already losing this temporary galore;
i don't see things as clearly as before,
since the day you walked out of my door.

i never knew when did i start feeling this,
never knew that i will end up like this;
i never knew that pain would be as agonizing as this,
since the day you broke my heart in bits.

now i know,
my days wouldn't be as bright when I'm with you;
I'm lost in my thoughts as time flies,
and it all started since the day you said goodbye.

~actually, this poem is the first ever poem i have written in english, now that i'm a grown-up...and this was also the one i have submitted for a conference a few months before...hope you liked it all..
