Blood and Tears

by ChaosHarbour   Oct 7, 2006

If pain is part of
loving who you are
why do I take the knife
and leave yet another scar

I tell myself
this has to stop
blood trickling down my wrist
my tears start to drop

Blood and tears
I begin to befriend
no matter how much
I want this to end

I think of what you said
and what I shouted back
the way my words hit you
they seemed to attack

I never meant to hurt you
but you hurt me more
just thinking of you now
makes my tears start to pour

I want you to notice
that I'm not around
baby I miss you:come back
I'm sorry I let you down

This is a great poem :)

    'Blood and tears
    I begin to befriend
    no matter how much
    I want this to end'

    - Love that part.

Every part has a great rythm and it kept my attention (which is a hard thing to do, believe me).

Anyways, thanks for the comment, I doubt I'll post anything new anytime soon, but I'm glad you liked my poem.
