Just waiting

Sitting on the porch, looking in the sky
waiting for a signal that just might catch my eye.

im waiting like a little kid in the line at a candy shop,
come to find out all that was left was a lousy lollipop.

watching other couples hold hands and laugh for days, you pushed my dreams of being with you or is this just a faze?
