Mother's Delicate Flower

by Morggie   Oct 8, 2006

The Sweet Pea or Lathyrus odoratus is a highly scented annual of the Leguminosae family. An individual bloom consists of three or four flowers (or florets) on a stem. Sweet Peas come in an abundance of different colours and species.

This Sweetpea is however not a flower. But a child who blooms within the loving grasp of her mother\'s arms. Together they play with loud thumps and murdurous crys of joy and laughter. Running down the halls, it seems of a great dream. Playing and loving one another in each other\'s grasp. Soon the dream must come to an end. A nightmare it turns into. A dream of danger, saddness, and death. The raiding cry of nothing of play. The sobby tears, stained on a pink blouse. The mourning of the delicate flower, which she once held in her arms. Now alone and without her daughter, no play, no laughter, just utter sadness, and the painful tears she sheds \"Please my love, be safe\" she crys in her dreams \"dont threat, I\'ll join you one day. But for now, you must stay. With all the other friends you had. The joy screams, and the loveing pats of small paws trembling on a black granit floor\" everything becomes silent. But like all silence. The heart-stoping sobs into a pillow breaks away into mourning-less crys.

But of course, this nightmare ends. No longer a dream, but reality at state. Now I utter the dreadful words of her comma state \"Do Not Fear my love, for we must pull the plug\"
