Tell me why it hurts so much,
And tell me why it hurts so bad.
Explain how you lose something,
That you never had.

To get over someone,
Why does it take so long?
Why do we have to hurt on the way,
And still have to stay strong?

To have all these feelings,
And not know what to do.
Why do you get to fall in love,
And I have to wait for you?

Watching you with her,
With cheeks stained with tears.
Medicine for a broken heart,
There is no such cure.

With my heart in a cage,
And yours' flying free.
We're just best friends,
And that's all we'll ever be.

    I love this poem... and i understand and i would prolly say this is the worst kind of broken heart that someone could ever have.... i think ud like my poems "just friends: part 1" and "ELOC" there both about being in love with my best guy friend
