Non-Existent

by Stephen   Oct 9, 2006

Today is the day,
Today I shall tell you the way I feel about you,
The way I yearn to have you by my side.

You come near.

My head aches,
My hands shake,
All that was once clear cannot be understood,
Around you the world is frozen,
As you walk, sounds cannot be heard.

You come closer.

As I watch, you are surrounded by nothing but the glow of your beauty,
A beauty that cannot be matched even by angels themselves.

You are right in front of me.

Your walk becomes a glide,
As if you are gliding with your angelic wings that cannot be seen,
Your glow is stronger than ever with a heavenly presence among it.

You walk right by.

You walk by me as if I am nothing,
As if I were not here, invisible, a trick of your eyes,
To you I am not there.

I am non-existent.
