My Sweet Vengeance

by FNO   Oct 10, 2006

I was just a young girl
Barley seventeen
When I fell in love with Johnny
The man of my dreams

He was nice at first
I was his fine possession
But things turned ugly
And love became obsession

My sweet vengeance
Soft unspoken lies
Truth behold the innocent
Another victim dies

The first time he hit me
He immediately apologized
And said he’d never do it again
But that quickly became a lie

But during the last fight
His house became a war
He left me with a broken wrist
And lying on the floor

My Sweet Vengeance
Soft unspoken lies
Truth behold the innocent
Another victim dies

This is my story
I want everyone to know
Johnny is the reason
I lie burried beneath the snow

My sweet vengeance
My soft unspoken lies
Truth beholds my innocents
Another victim dies
