Make me believe you aren't
as shallow as you act.
That you don't mean to be so cold
and it's not affection that you lack.
Make me believe it's worth it
sticking by your side
and you're even worth all these
bitter tears i seem to cry.
make me believe in possibility
and that we can make this work
instead of cutting me out of life
and being a gutless jerk.
Make me believe in staying
instead of giving up and walkign away
because these pointless games we're playing
are makign this harder everyday.
