Razor-blade kiss

by XxbrokenXsoulxX   Oct 10, 2006

Waiting for her one chance to be alone,
Wishing to be anywhere but home,
Close the door and lock it tight,
She looses herself a little more each night,
One by one she counts the scars,
She swears there are as many as the stars,
Walking by she avoids the mirror,
She cannot face the thing she fears,
And she begs for that razor-blade kiss,
For that one fleeting moment she's in bliss,
Then the happiness subsides,
She can feel her soul die,
She runs a hand down her arm,
feeling blood so warm,
She's addicted to the feeling,
To the feeling of not feeling,
It's her drug she holds in her hand,
She uses it to feel again,
Her lies begin to pile around her,
Growing higher till they drown her,
She knows it's not alright,
But she still repeats it every night.

    She's knows it's not alright,
    [should be "She" not "She's"]
