Erasing The Truth

Pull the lid over my eyes,
For now im never going to be a witness to your lies,
As you utter my name in vain,
Ill pretend that im not the offspring of an evil man,
Forever lost in what to believe,
Our words are twisted in knots unbreakable,
My tears i wasted on your selfish heart,
A big mistake on what to do with myself
Your opinions and thoughts used to mean something,
Now your a man with a heart for only what he wants,
My dream was to be like you,
Know i no the truth and my dream is for me to kill you......

    The emotion behind this peom is very strong...i think it could be better though. heres some constructive critisism: i would suggest trying to make this one rhyme only because the first two lines do and it just seemed that the rest, therefore should as well. Also try and work on the wording.. at times its a bit awkward. All in all, this is a good poem. I just think a re-write would be good.
