Piercing

by Jackie Prahl   Oct 11, 2006

Cold running through your body
excitement screams, building fear, and anticipation
the tender skin tingles,
with the touch of ice,
goose bumps form around your body.
as you eyes roll back,
to see the lights flicker,
smoothly hands graze the flesh
as they find their marks.
Holding to you so movement seems impossible
a sharp pressure against supple nerves
slowly now a metal is to penetrate
now the mind is hot with firey passion,
knowing of the pain.
feeling all as it runs through.
Time seems to have stopped
and begun again
looking closely at the new hoop, new stud,
the new hole that is forever chosen to stay.
