I never thought I'd live to see the day you die
I never got the chance to say goodbye
If I said "I'm OK" it would be a lie
At night when I'm in bed all I do is cry
All I can do is ask why
You were too young to die
No one was prepared to have to say goodbye
Every smile on my face is a lie
Whenever I think about not seeing you again I cry
I never thought I'd live to see the day you die
