I Still Remember

A dream so vivid i can not forget
a life so nice, i only wish
me back with you
not a likely thing
but your love for me always so true

A night so very hard to look back on
one filled with tears
not at all with laughter
the night you gave us up
it will haunt me for years

the time spent with strangers
the time lost to hope
a time with only anger
the cause of this being wrote

years taken from life
years taken with dreams
years of recovery
nothing as it seems

16 years old
