Ghetto Living

by Tiffany   Oct 12, 2006

Ghetto living is hard living
thugs and wanna b g's shooting at me
people tellin me there's no hope for wat i wanna be
baby mamas standing in a welfare line hoping that the governments help will be sublime

the neighborhood is run down and some houses abandoned
lil kids running in dirt, fallin on rocks and gettin hurt
young black boys hustlin on the corna
gettin shot for the all mighty dolla

dre and his boys sticking togetha
showin eachotha ghetto love
stayin tight sayin when one fight we all fight
oh can you just imagine the site
of young boys fightin ova a motor bike

can you imagine young gurls fightin ova a boy who dont have a care in the world
if either one of them is his girl
both pregnant and dont have a clue of what they gon do
to them abortion or welfare are the only two choices they can afford to do

for some kids birthdays aren't really a celebration
all they get is tears each and every year
the first of the month didnt come yet
so their moms are upset and forget wat dat birthday meant

boys ridin around in cars on big rims
spendin all they money on forces and tims
waistin money on speakers and tv screens
spendin all their money is wat they dream

some kids tryin to find a way out
but they get no support all they get is doubt
workin hard for minimum wage and at the end of the day all their money is taken away by a family member dat want to get high dat day

ghetto living is hard living
thugs and wanna b g's shooting at me
if you aint tough you betta get out
cuz you wont survive and there's no doubt
