Inner Beauty

by Tiffany   Oct 12, 2006

Dont look at my thighs or my size
look at the wisdom thats behind my eyes
why dont you look at the inside
and try to find my soft side

why is appearance so important to society and the mind
having young girls losing their mind
trying to be Jessica and Lindsay size
not seeing the beauty on the inside

why are todays young women looking up to celebrities
who when they are behind closed doors are worst than you and me
now we look like the stars shining in the sunlight
when will people come into the light of reality and see that everyone is not meant to be the size of a celebrity

when will people see their inner beauty
and be who they want to be
not a model for society
and learn that there is beauty inside you and me
and we can be who we want to be

false images being shown on the television screen
pressuring young women to be like the skinny lady on the cover of a magazine
acting like someone they really want to be
just doing it because they see it on MTV and bet

I'm not telling you to be like ms. floetris
because flowing comes natural to me
be yourself and you will see
that the world will be happier place for you and me

Couldnt have said it better myself.
inner beauty is sooo much more important than being a 'celeb size'.
but girls just dont seem to notice.
