Lovers Genocide

by Meagan   Oct 13, 2006

Poison danced on his lips.
Eager, she lapped up his tears,
Quickly, she licked at his mouth.
Candied liquid ecstasy, spreading,
Crystallizing overly hot veins.
' How could you be so cruel,' a cry.
Returned with a smile, too sweet, too kind,
Laced with malice.
' You chose this,' icy blue eyes.
A brush against her cheek,
A shudder,
A recline.
A sneer as he ran his fingers over braided rope.
Hands bound, her head spun.
Dreams of love, loss, despair.
Bile rising, thick and acrid.
A chuckle from his throat and a heavily forced kiss.
' Your poison is just as vile as mine.'
