Mistake.

by k i k i   Oct 13, 2006

Yet another cross to her name,
Not including the ones she has made.
Mistakes from the past,
You'd think she would of learnt by now.

She feels like everything she does,
That it's all wrong.
She can't satisfy their needs,
The hunger is a starving pain.

All she wants to be is right,
Have no mistakes.
Hard to accept any wrong,
She turns to self-destruction.

Cuts made from a marker,
Blunts the words that are told.
Help thrown away,
When it was needed the most.

A mistake can't be reversed,
Now, it's a mark.
It's her choice of direction,
But this wasn't the right way to go.

Carved a new identity,
Permanent into her skin.
Scars reflect the memories,
Thinking of all the wrong.
