The Impossible-

by k i k i   Oct 13, 2006

High seas, broken masts,
Sail ripped into shreds.
Men torn from their families,
Now they know the truth.
Unsinkable ships sink,
The total weight is never known.

Strong, built to last,
Bricks and mortar created.
Many hours worked on,
The future of it unclear.
Unbreakable walls break,
The impact is never known.

Sometimes the things you think,
That could never happen, will happen.
Out of the blue,
For no reason.
Promises will break,
The truth is never known.

The reasons,
The obstacles.
The fears,
The dying tears.
None of this,
Is ever known.

Never underestimate the impossible.
