Thank You

by Emm   Oct 13, 2006

Thank you,
You barely Broke my nose,
As my blood dripped to my toes,
I'm still alive.

Thank you,
You cannot get me down,
There is blood behind this frown,
I am not dead.

Thank you,
You tattered up my clothes,
Like a petal from a rose,
I am not gone.

Thank you,
You beat me pretty good,
As you hide beneath a hood.
My pride's still here.

Thank you,
Although you like to break,
This pain's not hard to take.
You will not break me.
