There you are, my hero, sitting so bold and so true
Making it possible for me to see that the only one I ever really need is you

There you are, my hero, reassuring me that it will all be okay
I sit watching you smiling, and the blackness turns to gray

There you are, my hero, standing so strong and so tall
I feel as if you’re always right there behind me, to catch me when I fall

And there you are, my hero, bravely casting my fears aside
