You left me in my time of need. Abandoning your best friend, what a dirty deed. You left without even an explanation. Leaving behind my heart in destruction. You know that I loved you from the very start. I gave you my everything, including my heart. What I got overall, were more good times then bad. What I'm left with now is a life ever so sad. I know that in time my heart will indeed mend. Unfortunately for me, it's not just around the bend. I struggle daily to put my hurt in the past. Patiently waiting to be able to laugh and love again at last.
