Unpainted Death

Unpainted death

Darkness be my guide
Take me away from this place
I need nothing, no help from anyone
Iâ??m my own guide, this story is mine

The paths are laid out
But I refuse to follow them
I write my own legend
I donâ??t need your faith

Her hands are cold as ice
Screaming with the souls of the dead
They torment her but comfort me
I feel no sympathy for her life

She calls out my name
As sheâ??s lying in a trance
The blood running cold, her skin pale white
Laughing at her demise gives me life

Her fate has been written
I could have changed it
I saw no need to help her
I care not for her soul

Darkness cradles inside of me
Gives me strength, gives me life
This power eats away like a cancer
My end is coming soon

My story has been written
The parts have played out
Iâ??m to die here
My life is an unpainted death
