Always and forever
That’s what you said to me
But if this is the truth
Then why am I no longer living happily?

It seems as if the longer we know each other
The more we start to fight
It goes on for days
And we go to bed angry at night

We say things to each other
That we don’t really mean
I know you really don’t think what you say
Or so it seems

I remember the days
Where we used to be so happy
It was great being together
Just you and me

But I guess somewhere down the line
Things began to change
And from that day forward
I knew things wouldn’t be the same

You went your separate ways
And I did the same as well
But ever since you’ve been gone
My life’s turned into a living hell

But I guess in some ways
It had to be for the best
But as for always and forever
I guess we’ll leave that to the rest
