Liberating Love

With love I'll fight forever on
Struggle through night towards the dawn
With each breathe I pledge anew
To find a way to comfort you

My greatest wish in this cruel world
To save you before you are unfurled
My pain's not new, I will survive
And to comfort you I'll always strive

You know my heart, you know my pain
But you are the sun after the rain
You are the peace that follows grief
Of my heart you are the thief

No greater joy could ever be mine
Than being thus bathed in your heart's shine
And for this gift you give to me
I'll fight forever till you're free
