A scar is a way to show your pain

It shows what you go through night and day

A scar has its own story to tell

It shows the world you've gone through hell

A scar doesn't mean you fell off your bike

It could mean you attempted to take your life

A scar could mean you got hit in the face

Or it could mean you felt like you were being erased

A scar can be covered up with make-up

But only you know how it got there and why.
