Silence

Silence are words never spoken,
will leave un-repaired what might have been broken.
you have chosen a path to alleviate your pain,
but it may lead to eight years poured down the drain.
I understand your reason for the choices you have made,
but it may lead to a bed your preparing which you have never laid.
so your choices are not as easy and no one said they would be,
but it seems your preparing yourself for a life without me.
with no simple hello's or courteous good nights,
it all appears but done so turn off the lights.
so, silence are words never spoken,
hopefully this nightmare will have ended and I will have awoken.
