Photograph

Memories spurred by a photograph
it make me cry, it makes me laugh
remembering you and me
remembering how we used to be.

your married now and i have kids
i miss your middle of the night visits
we may of only been fourteen
but it was perfect, well thats what it seemed.

i stare at the picture hard and long
reminding me of our song
you used to sing it to me all the time
always making up your own rhymes

you were the first boy i ever kissed
i was really nervous, i nearly missed
but i have kids now and their fourteen
don't want them to grow up like me

all the memories of you walking away
never talked since that day
i have to say it, i need to say it
goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.
