Perfect, wonderful, caring you

by lou   Dec 14, 2006

You were ill for quite a while
but you always had a smile
never thought it would go this far
cant believe how quick this day has come.

you were so strong, so full of pride
taking it all in your stride
i wish to be as great as you
i wish to follow in your shoes

a great life taken from this earth
an early death you did not deserve
and when that day came, the day you died
all i could do was break down and cry

you always was my second mother
i never could never wish for another
the last time i saw you you looked so peaceful
i just cant believe god was so decietful

the amount of people left behind is not small
this is because you are loved by all
and now you are among the clouds
and i know your watching down

watching down on everyone
making sure we come to no harm
because that is you trough and through
perfect, wonderful, caring you.

i wrote this for my step-mums funeral, she had cancer sinse i was 7, so that is nearly eight years that she suffered with this disease. i just hope that she likes the poem, as she was a wonderful person and derve to go in the way that she did.
