Nukes

by Rattlehead   Oct 17, 2006

Nuclear warfare
turning this world bare
we put bombs in the hands we trust
they turn cities and towns to dust
they fight eachother
turning man against his brother
nukes deploy at their station
sending the human race into extintion
mushroomclouds fill the sky
people know their going to die
it fills them full of fear
praying for what they hold dear
missiles are flying
people are dieing
all hell braking loose
the earth is taking their abuse
nothing shall remain
turning men insane
accept the truth this is not a game
down from the sky fire shall rain

Interesting anti-nuke poem. I haven't heard one of these in a very long time. I'd work a bit on how the words sound, however, since some of the couplets don't rhyme as much as others do.
