Daddie's little girl

by CiCi91   Oct 18, 2006

The way you used to tuck me in,
The way you'd make me forget when,
I was afraid,
The ways you'd tell me what to do,
The ways I'd always follow you,
Now please, take this pain away

Daddie, how could you leave me like that?
Your little girl feels so lost and sad,
Even though your not here in this world,
I'll always be my Daddie's little girl

You unmasked, a past, that I faced,
A soon as I found that I was too late,
Too late to save you, and now I fade away,
For I do not deserve to live, I need to die,
Cause I couldn't save him, And now I cry,
I love you so much, I just can't say goodbye

Daddie, how could you leave me like that?
Your little girl feels so lost and sad,
Even though your not here in this world,
I'll always be my Daddie's little girl

You taught me how to play the guitar
Now without you here, it feels so hard
To pick it up, and just keep playing
I miss your words, and now im paying
Now when I try to write a lyric down
It's stuck inside, it won't come out

Daddie, how could you leave me like that?
Your little girl feels so lost and sad,
Even though your not here in this world,
I'll always be my Daddie's little girl

Now that your gone from my life
Who will tuck me in at night
When I go out with my friends
Who will tell me to be home by ten
Who will be there when I am sad
I don't know, but it won't be my dad

Even though your gone from my world
I'll always be my daddie's little girl
