When i was a kid

Watch the clock
tick and tock
so fast time passes bye
so many laughs and so many cries
memories of when i was a kid
the time i actually lived
naive back in the day
i wish i could of stayed
no problems and no worries
no one telling me to hurry
now i find out i was deranged
in one day everything changed
what a simple time it was
when i was a kid

    Oh my goodness! I LOVED this poem! One of my favorites! I remember being a kid too... *sigh* It seems like so long ago... Now, the world seems almost a cold place... I don't know where I belong... Anyway, great poem. Just loved it. Keep writing!!
