A poem for mindy

by Gracie Danielle   Oct 19, 2006

Spongebob flavored ice cream
melting in the sun.
Its dripping on the trampoline...
Summer is way too fun.

Remember playing with the big ball,
and making fun of "Fighter".
We are so much older now,
And (I must say) lighter.

In seventh grade 1/2 our lunch table
thought that they were witches.
So we made fun of them, too.
We were the biggest...bullies...

Remember that one day when
I punched Jason in the face.
All of these memories
Time cannot erase.

I'm a bum without a license
so you drive me home from school.
We light up in the parking lot
Because were freaking cool.

Growing up was easy.
Remembering is hard.
But, no matter how hard I try
I cant forget the summers in my yard.
