Dying Rose

by Bubble Boy   Oct 19, 2006

There is a dying rose,
in a meadow far away.
It stands all alone,
forever where it'll stay.

It's pedals turning black,
under the moons dim glow.
It cries in total silence,
so no one will ever know.

The skys turn to black,
as rain starts to pour.
Then it finally happened,
it couldn't last anymore.

It lays in the meadow,
where it once stood.
It fought so hard,
as long as it could.

The storm then passed,
blue skys started to show.
High among all the clouds,
was a beautiful rainbow.
