An Awkward Realization

by Jason Kramer   Oct 19, 2006

I Awoke One Morning
With An Awkward Taste In My
Mouth
Stale Cigarettes And
Something Reminiscent Of Oak
(I Decided After Much Thought It Was Whiskey)

I Began To Sit Up But Half Way Through My Sitting My
Attempt Was Shot Down
By A
Searing Pain That Split My Skull In Two
So
I Took Two Aspirin And
Thought It Would Be A Good
Idea
To Take A Shower.

After I Stepped Out Onto
The
Cool Tile I Wiped The Fog From The Mirror And Thought About
How Our Generation Is Dying
Younger
And
Younger
And I Thought Hey,

Why Not Me?
