The Ending

by Trevor   Oct 20, 2006

Something's getting in the way
Leaves me here with all this pain
Couldn't last for one more day
Waiting, standing in the rain

There's not much for you here
As I whisper one more tear
When you're dying have no fear
Because I'm left a lonely year

She says, "We won't be here too long, too long,"
I am, I am sorry girl, but you're all wrong, all wrong

Memories slowly fade to black
The shade, my eyes pulled softly back
Lay sight upon the dreary gaze
Murmurs through the summer haze

If you remember, I forget
If you're happy, I'm upset
Don't forget,
We're not out of this yet

Clinging to an ending,
That will never come
Held in darkness
No light of sun
