Thinking of you

by ThePrincess   Oct 20, 2006

Is it wrong to still think of you?
Should I put it out of my mind?
Is it wrong to want you so bad?
Should I continue to live this lie?
And pretend as if my feelings are not there
So you may live in your fantasy
When in reality you need me.

You need me like peanut butter needs jelly
Like a child needs her mother,
But you are so stuck in your ways
You don't see that the best thing that ever happened to you
Is standing right here
Ready and waiting,
But I won't wait forever
So open your eyes a little wider,
And focus a little more,
And you'll find out that
Love has been knocking on your door.
