I've come to dread

This time of year

The Holidays are hard

Without you here

I have so much to be Thankful for

I know it's true

But it doesn't change the fact

That I miss you

I love to see the kids

So excited on Christmas day

To see you open gifts

Any price I would pay

No matter how much I wish

It isn't meant to be

I will cry silent tears

That I hope you can see
