I love you too

by The Lady of Shalott   Oct 20, 2006

I'm leaving soon, don't ask why,

Just smile your best and say good-bye.

Don't look into my eyes; don't ask me to stay,

And please don't watch as I leave you today.

I won't be coming back; you can take that straight to heart.

You laid your hand upon my soul, and tore my world apart.

Don't tell me that you love me, because you know that I don't care!

And stop looking at me with that lonely, broken stare.

That's right, just walk away, do what you've got to do.

*and as you walk away I'll whisper that I love you too*.
