I know... "only friends"

From the moment I read your poetry,
I fell in love... all because of your beautiful words.
The poems weren't even for me...

Falling for you was a strange and unknown feeling,
My mind and body where confused and reeling,
But now my mind is clear,
And now I know that we could never be even though my feelings are sincere.

Overtime my black heart will heal,
With or without you,
I will make it through,
This is how I feel...

But you love another,
She is who you'd rather,
And I respect your choice,
Even if it means; you cutting and bleeding over her voice.

I think I'll always be attracted,
But time will take my love away,
I will not wait because I know you'll never feel the same way...
This is all true, this is all fact.

For now and for ever I hope we will be friends,
Because that is all I ask for,
And nothing more
