Love kills.
It is tearing me apart.
I can't run. I can't hide
from myself
The pain spreads
to my soul. Contaminates.

Lye in bed. As the rain
tinkers on the tin roof.
Pain close enough to touch.
My eyes sting. My heart aches.
My soul perishes.

Let me Lye. Give up.
Cry myself to sleep.
As tears roll. Heart breaks.
Soul dies. Love kills.
