Anything To Hold You

by Daniel Rutter   Oct 21, 2006

Lying here all alone,
thinking of how much I love you.
What I'd give to be holding your hand right now,
and telling you about the world.

What I wouldn't give to fall asleep in your arms,
While you tell me you love me.
Oh...what I wouldn't give to share this night with you.

Your so far from me,
Yet so close.
Cause every thought I have,
Includes you.

Your So Far,
But I can feel you in my arms,
smell your hair, and taste your skin.
These Goosebumps.

Thoughts so real that they're Dangerous,
To my life, the love side and the social side.
What I would Give To Be with you right now.

Yet So Far,
And So long to wait,
Planning the days when we meet,
And what I so want to say to you.

I want to hold you,
And listen to your breath,
As the warmth creeps down my neck.
Crazy thoughts run through my mind.

I don't dream of anything more than what I do of you.
I want to show you how your meant to be loved,
How a real man does it right.
Oh...what I wouldn't give to have you in my arms tonight.

I'd Give anything to hold you.

This song was written while listening to Meatloaf - I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That). It sorta inspired this. :)
