Autumn leaves.

by Vonnie McHugh   Oct 22, 2006

Autumn leaves scattered on the ground,
Under your feet the crispy scrunchy sound,
The little animals are off to bed,
Looking for somewhere warmer instead.

The wind is blowing very strong,
Showing you Winter wont be long,
The bitter cold and frosty days,
Log fires burning brightly ablaze.

All snuggled up cozy and warm,
Waiting for that first snowstorm,
Winter will soon be here,
This now is apparently clear.
