A love like ours

My feelings for you are stronger,
Than I ever thought they could be,
For the first time in my whole life,
I feel like I can truly see,

I smile as I realise,
How much our relationship has grown,
You have stolen my heart,
Yet you've made me feel whole.

I think back fondly,
Of how we came to start,
Another year on,
And you still have my heart,

It's impossible to imagine,
What life would be without you,
I loved you then and I love you now,
More than words could ever construe,

You came into my life
And won my heart despite my fears,
And it hasn't been easy,
Ive been through a lot these past few years,

My heart was closed,
And afraid to feel,
Until you came along,
And showed me love was real,

With a love as strong as this,
We can overcome anything,
We'll stand together strong and true,
No matter what life brings,

There's nothing that can hurt us,
No-one could bring us down,
Our love will conquer all,
I have absolutely no doubt.
