Abandoned

by Keath   Oct 23, 2006

Depths without an end
Were shimmering in the night
They were breathing very softly
Returning the moon shines' bright

Where o where is
The love we once made
Even the lighting of depths
Cannot conceal the radiating hate

Why did you leave
Becoming one with the dark
All shimmer left the waters
Not even showing one spark

Depths without an end
Surrounding my body in dread
Not longer caring about life
'Cause everything is better in death

Outstanding!!! I loved it. The flow was great as well as the structure and of course the rhymes where good as well. I really wish this one was longer, it pulled me in and I was just getting into it when it stoped. GreatJob overall.

Bravo!!!!!!!! Excellent poem. This is one of the best poems that I have read of yours. Actually I think I like this one better then all the rest. I could actually picture each stanza as a scene from a play. I really wish that this one was longer lol. 5/5 Your amazing. Keep up the excellent writing.
