A Dream, But A Reality

by Mousie   Oct 23, 2006

I look up
And see your smile
Lighting up my soul
Filling me with the joy I've never known.

Your soft eyes
Shimmer in the cool breeze
As the snowflakes
Fall around them.

Your hair
Dazzled by the dew of the snow
Shines above your head
Giving you the halo of a sweet angel.

Softly as we walk
Our arms brush against one another
And I feel a tinge of arousal
Pass through my veins.

Your voice carries me off
To a distant fantasy
As my laughter fills the emptiness
Left by the path of the shrill wind.

I squeeze your hand
That so gentley grasps mine
Telling you how much I love you
And life wouldn't be the same with you gone.

Wow!!! Indredible! Even though there is no rhyme scheme or syllable count it flows so well! I didn't have to pause and change the rhythm I was reading at! On spelling mistake though: "That so gentley grasps mine" should have GENTLY... Other than that, Great work!!
